Congratulations to London Bray, a sixth-grade Windy Hill Middle School student, and his supporting teacher, Mr. Brian Williams. London won first place at Florida History Day in the junior individual exhibit category! His exhibit, "Navajo Code Talkers: Journey from Responsibilities to Rights," was selected from entries from 40 districts across the state. London is now eligible to participate in the National History Day competition, June 8-12, at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. There, he will compete with students from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, and international schools!

📦 Time to Turn Them In! Chromebook Collection is Coming! The end of the school year is right around the corner, and it’s time to get those Chromebooks ready for return. Here’s what you need to know to make the process quick and smooth: ✅ What to Do Before You Turn In Your Device Remove all stickers and decorations ➤ Don’t forget to clean off any sticky residue! ➤ A safe way to clean: use a slightly damp cloth (water only) — no chemicals or sprays! ➤ Check that your device is fully charged (100%) ➤ Turn in your charger ➤ Must include both parts: the brick and the cable! ➤ Report damage early ➤ If your device isn’t working or is damaged, turn it in now — don’t wait for collection day! ➤ Ask questions? ➤ See your school’s Media Specialist for help.

A white flyer with blue, yellow, and gray accents titled "Chromebook Collection is Coming!" with a subheading, "Time to Turn Them In!" The flyer includes a checklist of reminders: remove all stickers and decorations, ensure the device is fully charged (100%), turn in both parts of the charger, report any damage early, and contact the media specialist with questions. At the bottom, it notes that collection day is coming soon and includes a tagline: “Let’s Keep It Clean – Collection Time is Near!” Icons accompany each checklist item.
